I thought it would be fun to share some projects I have worked on in a little series of sorts. Let’s call this Project Spotlight, shall we? Last year I had the pleasure of creating a Custom Room Design for a client’s new build. The family wanted to prioritize the open concept living room, as it would be the hub of their busy lives.
The Plan
This family wanted a relaxed, but stylish “California ranch” inspired space infused with neutral colors, natural textures, and worn leather and wood, with comfort being key.
I created the design utilizing some existing pieces the clients had, and integrating new items more appropriate for this large living space. Then, the clients purchased the items and implemented the plan.
I returned to help style the space, and snapped a few photos with my phone. I wish I had gotten some more (and better) pics, but I do want to share some snaps of how the space turned out. You may notice some tags on items, and some random things (the large glass hurricane cylinders in front of the fireplace just needed to be stored elsewhere).
